Be a part of a San Francisco tradition! Rhythm & Motion Dance Program and ODC are joing forces with City Car Share to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Pride Parade with music, movement, spirit and sweat! We invite everyone to dance with us in the Parade on June 27 to some of our favorite songs: "Express Yourself" by Charles Wright and the Watts 103rd St. Rhythm Band, "Celebrate" by Rupaul and "Pump It" by the Black Eyed Peas.
WHEN:
Sunday, June 27. Arrive by: 9:30 am
(Parade will start promptly at 10:30am)
WHERE:
Start: Market & Beale St, San Francisco
End: Market & 8th St.
COST:
The expense of taking classes to practice the routines and the $14 for the tank top.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT.
Starting on June 14 thru Saturday, June 26, all R&M teachers in SF will be teaching the 3 routines in Fusion Rhythms and Essential Rhythms. View class schedule
We require that you attend a rehearsal outside of class on Saturday, June 26 from 2:30-4:00pm at ODC Dance Commons (you will need to sign a liability waiver at this time).
ATTIRE:
"Everybody Dance Now" ODC and R&M tanks (can be purchased at a discount, for $14, from administrative offices Mon.-Sat.)
Black bottoms (leggings, pants, skirts, shorts, etc.)
Comfortable footwear that will support you for an hour of dancing/walking.
