Printz Dance Project (PDP) will hold an open audition for its 2013 season. Dancers will learn repertory for touring as well as participate in the development and performance of a new inter-disciplinary production to premiere late 2013 at Z Space. PDP is looking for male and female dancers with skills in a mix of any of the following styles: contemporary, modern, jazz, hip-hop, plus a strong ability to partner with vibrant, expressive performance quality. Dedicated, hard working, positive people are a must. This will be a paid project. Rehearsals are Wed evenings and Sun afternoons. In addition, dancers must be available for residencies May 9-12, and Oct 7-10. Load in/shows will be Nov 25-27 and Nov 30-Dec 8, 2013.

Printz Dance Project performs a repertory of accessible, athletic work that is punctuated by fluidity, sensuality and musicality. PDP has performed in San Francisco for 11 years, and has toured across the nation and internationally in Russia, Lithuania, and Ireland. PDP’s most recent production, Hover Space, premiered to high praise, packed houses and reviewers saying, “With a talented cast, unique concept and inventive movement, Hover Space is a slam dunk.” And “the 'hovering' second stage was brilliant”.
