ODC/Dance Company Open Call Audition

ODC/Dance Company will be holding an open call audition on August 7, 2022. The audition will include a ballet barre and contemporary center, taught by Assistant to the Artistic Director, Brandon “Private” Freeman, as well as repertory, and creative problem solving work with Artistic Director, Brenda Way, with the ODC Dancers. We currently have two Company openings that we are seeking to fill before the end of the year.
Dancers joining ODC must have a strong technical background in ballet, professional performance experience, and be eligible to work in the United States. We value strong ballet technique, partnering ability, creativity, discipline, and in the personal domain, generosity, courage, nuance, humor ,and other interests.
ODC/Dance Company members receive an exclusive full-year contract that includes group health care benefits, dance classes at ODC, free and reduced cost Pilates services, and other opt-in benefits. In addition, they participate in an exciting and demanding performance schedule including two annual home seasons, domestic and international touring, and a collaborative choreographic process.

Audition cost: There will be no fee for this audition.
